Fuel Pellet manufacturing is the method by which wood products, straw, miscanthus and other energy crops are broken down, compressed and extruded into a dense pellet form.
Fuel pellets which are produced from bioenergy crops or wood residues are a carbon neutral energy source. This means that when the pellet is burned in a pellet boiler or stove, it releases back into the environment the same amount of CO2 that was consumed by the plant or crop while growing.
